AAROM GHjt flexion in supine (full range) (Shoulder flexion to 180° AAROM, supine)

Lie on your back holding the wrist of your affected arm firmly with the one another hand.
Keeping your elbows softened, lift your arms up towards the ceiling.
Continue the movement, bringing your arms over head until your hands reach the surface behind you.
It is ok for your elbows to be bent in this position.
If you are able to touch the surface behind with your hands, slowly attempt to straighten your elbows out so that your hands slide away from the top of your head.
Ensure your shoulders do not hunch up as you do this.
Control the movement as you lower your arms back down to the starting position.
