Lie on your back in a comfortable position.
Position a pillow under your head if this is more comfortable.
Bend your knees and place your feet flat on the floor.
Place a book on your tummy.
With your body relaxed, take a deep breath in through your nose.
Watch as the book rises up as you inhale.
Breathe out through your mouth, and watch as the book lowers back down.
Repeat this movement, ensuring you allow the book to rise as you breathe in, and fully empty your lungs as you breathe out.
