Abdominal Curl (with a Pillow Under Lower Back)

Lying on your back with knees bent and a cushion/roll under the small of your back. Clasp your hands behind your neck.

Lift your head and shoulders off the floor by reaching your chest towards the ceiling and pushing your back into the cushion. Avoid pulling your head with your arms and keep elbows out to the sides.

You can also twist your upper trunk alternately to the right and left.
