Active inhibition of sternocleidomastoid

In supported sitting (back to the wall), make sure you are in pelvic neutral, engage your pelvic floor and deep transverse abdominals and shoulder blade muscles.

Tuck your chin in, take your right ear to your right shoulder and look up towards the left by turning your head. You should feel a stretch behind your left ear. If not, sit on your left hand to depress your left shoulder.
Hold for required amount of time.
Repeat on the other side.
