Alternating goblet lateral lunge without prosthetic (Adaptive unilateral upper limb amputee)

Alternating goblet lateral lunge without prosthetic (Adaptive unilateral upper limb amputee)

Perform this exercise without your prosthetic on.
Stand with your feet hip-width apart, hips and knees slightly bent.
Hold a dumbbell vertically in front of your chest, with your hand cupped under the uppermost end of the dumbbell as if you were holding a goblet and with your residual limb supporting it.
Keep your elbows tucked in.
Take a long step to the side with one leg, keep your trunk upright, and squat down.
As the other leg straightens you might feel some stretch in your inner thigh and groin.
Push back up and step back to starting position, whilst keeping your knees slightly bent throughout.
Repeat towards the other side.
