Bridging to move in the bed ('ADL' Bed mobility - lying, bridging to edge)
Lie on your back with your knees bent and your feet flat on the floor.
Push down through your feet, tighten your buttocks and lift your hips up.
Move your hips sideways before lowering them back down.
Move your shoulders across and then step your feet to be in line with your hips.
