Start by lying on a bench of the duplex cable machine. The pulling direction is diagonal and up from below. Extend your arms 90° to your shoulders with your elbows slightly bent. Pull your arms back behind your head, keeping your elbows slightly bent.

To avoid an arch in your low back, be sure to tighten your stomach muscles.
