Cable machine step up and over

Cable machine step up and over

Stand up straight facing away from a cable machine with a small step or box in front of you.
Place the cable machine attachment around your hips, so that there is resistance as you move forwards.
Lift one leg onto the centre of the step.
Step up and over, bringing your other leg from one side of the step, to the ground on the other side.
Ensure you maintain good balance and an upright torso throughout.
Return to the starting position in a controlled manner.
