Common extensor forearm tendon mobilisation with movement against wall (Common extensor tendon mobilization with movement, against wall, standing)

Common extensor forearm tendon mobilisation with movement against wall (Common extensor tendon mobilization with movement, against wall, standing)

Sit or stand up straight sideways to a wall.
Your affected arm should be closest to the wall.
Hold your arm out in front of you palm up, and position the boney part on the outside of your elbow against the wall.
Note, only this bony area should touch the wall.
The tissues around it should not.
Place the heel of your other hand on the tissues just below your elbow on your forearm.
Apply some pressure on and over your forearm to these tissues and rotate your palm downwards.
Your elbow may be slightly bent.
Keeping the pressure on your forearm with your other hand, perform a movement that usually irritates your elbow pain.
For example, make a fist and release, or lift your wrist up and down.
If the pain does not reduce doing this, change the angle at which you apply the pressure from your other hand.
