Good morning in sit (stable surface) ("Hip hinge, sitting" Pelvic neutral stabilization, arms crossed)

Sit up straight on a chair or stool
Make sure you find your pelvic neutral position with your weight through your seat bones, rather than your tail bone.
Cross your arms over your chest.
Keeping your back and neck straight, and your shoulders relaxed, lean forwards.
It is vital the movement comes from your hips rather than the bending of your back.
Sometimes it helps to imagine you have a stick running down your back which prevents you from bending.
Go as far as you can manage without bending your back.
Control the movement as you return to the starting position.

Required equipment: Chair
