High step ups with knee drive - with barbell ("Step up and through" Hip/knee extension strengthening, with barbell (front))

Step onto a box with one leg, ensuring your entire lead foot is on the box.
Hold a barbell across the front of your shoulders with your palms facing upwards and your elbows up and in front of you.
Forcefully extend your lead hip and knee to move up onto the top of the box.
Bring your trailing knee through and flex your opposite hip to 90 degrees.
Stand erect and pause before beginning the downward movement phase.
Reverse the movement pattern to return to the starting position.
