Hip extension through range (Hip extension strengthening, leaning forward, standing behind chair)

Start in a standing position, one stride away from a chair or table.
Reach forward for the chair and rest here, lowering your body.
Tighten your stomach muscles to stabilise your body.
Keeping both legs straight, raise your affected leg back behind you until it is horizontal.
Control the movement as you lower the leg back down.
