Isometric soleus contraction in standing (Soleus strengthening isometric, overhead counter force, standing)
Stand up straight under a stable overhead platform, such as a doorway.
Push upwards against the platform with your hands.
Bend your knees and simultaneously push your toes into the floor as if trying to lift your heels.
Counterbalance the upward force from your legs with the downward pressure from your arms.
Hold this position.
