Isometric thumb palmar abduction (Thumb palmar abduction strengthening isometric, palm neutral)

Sit upright in a chair with your affected arm on the table and your hand on its side.
Use your opposite hand to resist your thumb moving out from the index finger, parallel to the table.
Try to hold this position without moving.
