Jump rope skipping – horizontal hurdle jump (Jumping rope – horizontal hurdle jump)
Stand up straight with both ends of a jump rope in one hand.
Build momentum in the rope by whipping it in a circular motion against the ground around front of you.
Stay light and springy on the balls of your feet and perform a high two footed jump over each passing of the rope.
Maintain the momentum in the rope through a flicking action at your wrist, with minimal movement from your arm.
