Lateral sling stretch in side lying (Hip abductors stretch, opposite foot on thigh, side lying leg bent back)

Lie on your good side with your affected leg on top.
Bend your affected knee, bringing your foot up behind you towards your buttock, and hold your ankle with your hand.
Push your hips forwards and aim to keep your thighs level with each other.
Next, cross the heel of your other leg over your affected knee and push downwards towards the floor.
Feel the stretch along the side of your affected thigh.
Hold this position.
