Stand up straight and place your foot on your affected side on a chair.
This can also be done kneeling on the floor.
With your arms on the inside of your leg, place your hands firmly across the top of your foot.
Push your knee forwards so that you have a bend smaller than 90 degrees at the knee.
Fixing your foot with your hands, move your bent knee out to the side.
Oscillate this movement, encouraging more mobility in your ankle.
