Stand up straight, looking directly ahead with your posture upright.
Bend the elbow of your affected arm and lift your arm out to the side.
Your palm should face towards your ear.
Keeping your head still, simultaneously straighten your elbow and bend your wrist backwards so that your palm faces away from you.
Stop at the point that you start to feel some tension in your arm.
Bend your wrist and elbow to return to the starting position.
Continue this fluid movement steadily.
