Opposition and Extension of the Fingers (Putty)
Sit at a table.
Hold putty in one hand and pull pieces off it using the fingers of the other hand. Then, use the palm of your hand to roll each piece into a ball. Do the rolling movement outwards so that you move your hand forward and then towards the little finger.
You can also do the exercise by pulling the pieces with the thumb and one other finger at a time.
