Passive hip abduction at 90 degrees flexion (Hip horizontal adductors stretch, with assist, supine)
Lie your child on their back.
Bend the affected leg so the hip is at 90 degrees.
Stabilise the pelvis with one hand.
Place the other hand over the knee.
Slowly take the affected leg out to the side until you feel resistance.
Hold this position.
Required equipment: Adjustable plinth/bed, Assistant
