Pelvic floor contraction in crook lying

Pelvic floor contraction in crook lying

The pelvic floor consists of many small muscles that together contract and lift the pelvic floor.

Lie on your back with your knees bent. Lightly squeeze your back passage together as if stopping yourself from emptying your bowel. Continue tightening towards the front passage by trying to pull it in and up. Lastly, squeeze the bladder outlet as if you were trying not to urinate. Relax.
