Stand facing a worktop with two objects such as bottles of water in front of you.
Place the bottles shoulder-width apart.
Keep your feet in place, with your right hand lift the right bottle forwards on the worktop.
Return to the starting position and repeat with the left bottle using your left hand.
Then reach with your right hand to bring the left bottle back towards the edge of the worktop.
Repeat with the right bottle using your left hand.
Feel the weight shift forwards towards the front of the foot and again back to the whole foot.
Try to increase the reach every time you move the bottle further forwards.
As you gain confidence try to perform this exercise with the bottles further away from each other so you need to twist more to reach and move them.
