Resisted finger hook flexion (intrinsic minus position) with therapy putty (Finger flexion strengthening, with putty, hook fist - intrinsic minus position)
Sit upright in a chair.
Place your affected arm on a table, holding the forearm up with your wrist straight and fingers relaxed.
Bend the end and middle joints of your fingers, keeping your knuckles straight.
Place the putty in the space between your fingers and palm.
Try to squeeze the putty with the tips of your fingers without bending your knuckles.
Squeeze the putty in as far as you can and hold this position.
