Resisted hip lateral rotation in side lying (clam) ("Clamshell" Hip external rotation strengthening, with band; 04)

Lie on your unaffected side with your knees bent, and your legs stacked on top of each other.
Tie a resistance band around your knees.
Keep your back and pelvis still and your feet together at all times.
Lift the top knee slowly up against the resistance of the band.
Control the movement as you lower the leg back down.
Ensure you do not roll your body backwards as you lift the top knee.
