Resisted isometric cervical rotation in sitting (Cervical rotation strengthening isometric with band, sitting)
Sit up straight with a resistance band around the back of your head.
Cross the ends in front of you.
If trying to turn your head to the left, cross the left end above the right end.
Hold the ends firmly with some tension in the band.
Keeping your neck in neutral facing ahead, pull the end of the upper band forwards and across you as though trying to turn your head.
Resist the movement by keeping your head in the same position.
Hold this position.
