Resisted scapular retraction and shoulder extension (Shoulder extension/scapular retraction strengthening, with band, arms straight, standing; 01)
Stand up straight with a resistance band tied around a solid object just above head height.
Hold the ends of the band in both hands.
Keep your elbows straight and gather some tension in the band.
Pull on the band, bringing your hands backwards past your hips.
Focus on pulling your shoulder blades back and together as you do this movement.
Control the movement as you return to the start position.
