Resisted shoulder external rotation with a towel
Start by standing with your feet hip width apart.
Place a rolled towel between your upper arm and side.
Your upper arm should be slightly forward and your elbow at a right angle.
Hold an exercise band that is securely attached to the side.
Keep your elbow in place, pull the band and take your forearm outward.
In a controlled manner, return to the starting position and repeat.
