Rolling away from the hemiplegic side ('ADL' Bed mobility - lying, rolling away from weaker side)
Lie on your back with your legs stretched out in front of you.
Lift up your weaker leg so that your knee is bent and your foot is flat on the floor.
Reach your weaker arm across your chest, as far as possible.
Turn your head to the side you are rolling towards.
Push through your foot and reach with your arm to rotate your body and roll over.
