Scapular retraction supine arm lifts with weight (Scapular retraction stabilization, lifting arm, with weight, supine)
Lie on your back on a firm surface.
Relax your arms by your sides and hold a weight in your weaker arm.
Gently bring both your shoulder blades back towards your spine.
Do not hunch your shoulders up to your ears.
Whilst keeping your shoulder blades still, lift your weaker arm up, leading the movement with your thumb.
Slowly lower your arm back to the surface.
Required equipment: Dumbbell, Weights, free, Adjustable plinth/bed
