Seated balance - reaching sideways to floor

You need a sturdy chair without arm rests for this exercise.
Sit on the chair with your feet flat on the floor.
In turns, reach with your hand to one side, as if picking something from the floor.
Reach only as far as you feel comfortable.
Always return to the starting position and find your balance before reaching towards the other side.
