Single leg calf raise toes dorsiflexed ("Heel raises" Gastrocnemius strengthening, toes on towel, single leg, near wall)
Stand up straight facing a wall or supportive surface.
Position a rolled towel on the floor.
Place your toes of your affected foot onto the towel.
Lift your other leg from the floor.
Perform a calf raise, pushing up onto your toes.
Hold this position.
Control the movement as you slowly lower your heel back down to the floor.
Ensure you keep your knee straight throughout the movement.
