Smith machine bench press

Smith machine bench press

Lie on your back on a bench under a Smith machine. Your chest is under the bar. Grasp the bar with your palms facing down (i.e. overhand grip) slightly wider than shoulder-width, and your elbows straight. Unlock the bar.

Lower the bar under control until your upper arms are horizontal or slightly lower. Push the bar back to the starting position.
