Step forward backward with support (Balance, standing, stepping forward/backward)
Stand up straight with a wall or sturdy object to your side.
Step forward on one leg.
Bring your other leg to join it.
Step back to your starting position.
Bring your other leg to join it.
Repeat, leading with your other leg.
Aim to step without using the support, but have your hand close by to reach out if you need it.
Keeping your gaze directly ahead will help you to balance.
