Stand upright with the water at a depth instructed by your therapist.
Place a step into the water and put the foot of your affected leg onto the step.
Step backwards away from the step with your other leg.
Drop your back knee down towards the floor while simultaneously lifting the arm on the same side.
Quickly straighten your front knee, lifting your back foot from the floor and driving your knee towards the surface in front of you.
Simultaneously, drive your opposite arm forwards.
Return to the start position and repeat.
