Stretching Lateral Flexors of the Neck in Sitting (Torticollis)

Sit on the floor or on a chair
Place your child on your lap with their back against you.
With one hand, hold the child's shoulder.
With the other, tilt the child's head bringing the ear towards the shoulder to stretch the muscles of the neck in the opposite side.
You can encourage relaxation during stretching by calming your child using gentle speech, singing or movement with your own body.
