Tennis elbow offloading taping – self taping (Tennis elbow, offload taping)

You will need 5cm fixation tape and 5cm zinc oxide tape for this technique.
This technique will provide support for your elbow to relieve pain caused by tennis elbow.
Sit upright.
Find the bony prominence on the outside of your elbow.
Perform your pain provocative movement so you can assess the benefit of the tape later.
Apply 5cm fixation tape to your forearm approximately one inch or 2.5cm below the bony prominence.
Next, apply the 5cm zinc oxide tape under outward tension.
This should result in a slight folding of the skin on your forearm.
Reassess your pain provocative movement and make any necessary adjustments.
