Trunk Stabilisation in Supine

Lie on your back as shown in the picture and press your lumbar spine (lower back) down into a neutral position on the floor. A hand on your lower abdomen will make it easier to control the area. You might want a pillow under your head.
Stretch your right hand above your head with a straight arm, flex your foot and let your right heel slide along the floor until your leg is straight. Feel the same side of the trunk lengthen. Maintain control of your lower back. It must maintain its neutral position. Do the same on the other side.
