Walking with one elbow crutch ('Gait training' Step to, with forearm crutch - progressions)

Stand up straight with your crutch in the opposite hand to your affected leg.
Move your crutch forward in front of you and place it on the ground.
Step your affected leg level with your crutch.
Push through your crutch and bring your other leg in front of your affected leg.
Repeat this pattern.
As you get more confident you can move your affected leg and the crutch at the same time.
