To stand with a weighted vest or belt, Move your bottom to the edge of the chair.
Place both feet firmly and flat on the floor in a walking stance. Lean forward so that your nose is over your toes (this helps move your center of gravity forward). As you begin to rise, straighten your legs.
To sit, keep your feet positioned in a walking stance, and bend forward at the hips while bending the knees. Keep your nose over your toes as you lower your bottom towards the seat in a controlled manner.
Note: Try not to use your arms.
